The economy is further supported by the Ajman Free Zone, which hosts over 1,500 companies, and Ajman Port, handling more than 1,000 vessels annually. For 2025, Ajman has approved a budget of AED 3.7 billion (approximately $1 billion). This vision is being supported by infrastructure projects like the development of Al Zorah Nature Reserve and the expansion of Ajman Corniche, which will enhance the city’s appeal as a tourist destination.

Ajman's transport network is expanding to meet growing demands. The Ajman Transport Authority (ATA) operates both internal and inter-emirate bus services, connecting Ajman with Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Al Ain. In the first half of 2025, over 1.9 million passenger trips were recorded, with a fleet covering main corridors like Al Ittihad Street and Al Jurf.
